Privacy Notice

DietSupport is a non-medical lifestyle and mental health support service. We apply data minimisation and only request personal data that are necessary for handling an enquiry, arranging a consultation, providing the service and meeting legal obligations.

Please do not submit detailed medical, diagnostic, medication or psychiatric information through the application form or by email. DietSupport does not seek to create or maintain medical records.

2. Data we use

For identification and communication we primarily use your name and email address. The application form may also contain short, non-diagnostic questions about the type of lifestyle support sought, the special diet followed, preferred next step and general availability. These answers are used only for initial screening and contact.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Application data are processed on the basis of consent; booking and consultation data are processed as necessary for steps requested before entering into a contract and for performance of the contract; invoicing data are processed to comply with legal obligations; technical server logs may be processed for the legitimate interest of maintaining a secure and stable website.

4. Retention

Screening answers are deleted without undue delay after the matter is closed and no later than 30 days afterwards. If no service relationship is formed, name and email are also deleted within 30 days after closure. Where a service relationship is formed, they are retained only as long as necessary for communication, performance or lawful claims. Statutory invoicing records are retained for the legally required period.

5. Deletion requests

You may request deletion of your name, email address and other consent-based personal data at any time by emailing hs.dietsupport@gmail.com. No reason is required. Requests are handled without undue delay and, as a rule, within one month. Data that must be retained by law or are necessary for legal claims may not be deleted until the relevant period ends.

6. Service providers

We may use Google Forms, Google Sheets, Gmail and Google Calendar; Doxy.me for video consultations; RackForest Zrt. for hosting; and an invoicing service provider. Where personal data are transferred outside the EEA, applicable GDPR transfer safeguards apply.

7. Marketing

Application and consultation data are not used for newsletters or direct marketing.

8. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
